NORTHWEST KIDS IN ACTION (NWKIA)
Northwest Kids in Action (NWKIA) is a recreational and developmental group for youth ages 8 – 18 who are blind or visually impaired and reside in Northwest Missouri.
NWKIA encourages physical development by participation in a wide variety of physical, social and developmental activities. Activities include: Goalball, Archery, Rock Climbing, Swimming, Yoga, Musical Lessons, Tandem Bike Riding, Cooking, Nutrition, Hands on Arts, and many other activities. All participants must be able to take care of personal needs independently. All participants must have their own transportation to and from primary meeting location.
Depending on the adventure, meetings will be held in St. Joseph, Cameron, or Chilicothe.

NWKIA is the sister program to Southwest Kids in Action (SWKIA) and Southeast Kids in Action (SEKIA).

October 29 – Grilling and Zip lining at Zip KC, Bonner Springs, KC
